Name That Movie!
Re: Name That Movie!
You're right, not a chick flick, and definitely not one of may favorites; I'll defer because I know others here should get it.
Re: Name That Movie!
Okay, let's try a second quote:
Hey! I'm talking to you! Now you've got about ten seconds before those guys see you, and when they do they will kill you, you understand? You are about to have a very bad day.

Re: Name That Movie!
The dirty dozen?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
Re: Name That Movie!
That's just about the anti chick flick. So I figured it was worth a try

Re: Name That Movie!
Well, it's been a day now--I think it's Die Hard with a Vengeance (if it's not, it's the other die hard film).
Re: Name That Movie!
That is correct!

As someone else said, we needed some more Bruce Willis
It's my favorite Die Hard movie, and one of my favorite cop- action flicks...(at least the first half...the second half where the bad guys are pulling off the gold heist tends to drag....)
I thought that Willis and Jackson had great chemistry...

Re: Name That Movie!
Not one of my favorites (and I have had enough Bruce Willis for a lifetime after Moonlighting), but here's another quote:
Not an action movie, but a fairly recent one which got a lot of critical acclaim.I'll tell you this much: I am going to ask Father Flood to preach a sermon on the dangers of giddiness. I now see that giddiness is the eighth deadly sin. A giddy girl is every bit as evil as a slothful man.

"The Flying Nun"?
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Re: Name That Movie!
And I can also tell you Sally field was not in this movie.
Time for a hint--think of Oscar nominations--this one was nominated for 3 major ones.
If I still get no answers, I'll add another quote later.

Now all I can think of are Sally field movies.
Forrest Gump?

Das Flying Nun?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Name That Movie!
No and no.
One more quote--this should make it easier:
One more quote--this should make it easier:
You'll feel so homesick that you'll want to die, and there's nothing you can do about it apart from endure it. But you will, and it won't kill you. And one day the sun will come out - you might not even notice straight away, it'll be that faint. And then you'll catch yourself thinking about something or someone who has no connection with the past. Someone who's only yours. And you'll realize... that this is where your life is.

Re: Name That Movie!
Das Chick Flick

Her performance here is really fantastic, in which she conveys her emotions so well through her eyes and facial expressions, while also being a very endearing and relatable character. (Also a fantastic crier) _______’s progression as a character is really beautiful to watch, but also very subtle as you don’t fully notice it until the climax of this film. This movie could have easily been very heavy handed or over dramatic, and they could have made the story all about the romance, and the love triangle (I was kind of expecting it to do so) but they managed to handle it so well, know the right amount to show on screen, making it all about growth and getting all the emotion and ideas from such a simple concept.

One more hint, it was nominated for Best Picture of 2015.

Re: Name That Movie!
I know the answer to this, but I'm disqualified for this round...
But since it's been this long with no one getting it, I'm going to take the liberty of giving what should be a dead give-away clue:
One of the Five Boroughs Of New York City...
(And to narrow it down even further, there has never been a movie made with the title, Staten Island...
)

Re: Name That Movie!
We've already had Manhattan.
Could it be Fort Apache: The Bronx?
Or The Queen(s)? (A stretch, I know)
I haven't actually seen it yet, but given the clues dating it, I'm guessing it must be.....Brooklyn?
