A Utah dad fed up with his teen daughter's too-short shorts taught her a fashion lesson she'll never forget when he stepped out in his own pair of homemade Daisy Dukes.

It was all to prove to Myley that the tiny garms she refused to swap for something more appropriate "weren't as cute as she thinks."
Venturing out to their favorite restaurant, his wife Becky snapped him donning his ridiculous attire and then posted it to her blog.
The image soon went viral, with hundreds of thousands of viewers hailing Mackintosh as "the best dad," the "coolest dad" and the "most embarrasing dad" ever.
He later took to his spouse's website to reveal "the truth" behind the picture.
The father of seven, who has four daughters and three sons, said he takes his brood out every Monday for some family time.
Last week, just as they were about to leave home, he said Myley refused to change out of her micro-shorts.
He charged upstairs and carried out the alterations to his pants before setting off to the restaurant.
His kids didn't notice what he'd done until his wife started taking pictures of him on her cellphone.
Myley reportedly tried to remain calm as he strutted around, not even "breaking a sweat" as they went to play miniature golf afterward.
But she eventually cracked when they went to an ice cream shop, refusing to walk inside with her embarrassing pop.
Mackintosh revealed he "wasn't sure" if the lesson had sunk in.
But that didn't matter, he said, adding: "My daughter will always know that her dad loves her and cares about her enough to make a fool out of himself."
