Modern day panic

Panic spread in the Smith family yesterday after Mrs Andrea Smith, 35, failed to post anything to social media for over 30 minutes.
‘I was devastated,’ said her mother. ‘I had no idea what she was doing or where she was. I didn’t even know if she’d done her Tesco shop. It was terrifying.’
Emergency services were alerted and police extended the search to Pinterest and Snapchat in the hope they might stumble upon clues as to her whereabouts.
Forensic examination of Mrs Smith’s timelines revealed that in her final moments she had watched X-Factor, enjoyed pictures of emergency kittens, had a bad day at work and visited the toilet twice since lunch.
The search was called off after Mrs Smith tweeted that she had popped in to talk to a neighbour and time ran away with her.
‘I just forgot to post for a few minutes,’ she explained. ‘But it’s all back to normal now. I’ve put the embarrassing pictures of the kids on Facebook and reported my coffee and biscuit consumption on Twitter.’
