Calculus "College" here in Bloem (it's actually a high school) for a long time had a large signboard announcing that it was:
"A Centre for Excellance"
(I'm sure you know that "Centre" is spelled correctly)

What makes this worse is it is an independent girls school charging almost £11k a year.
