Detectives have released a bizarre e-fit image of a man with distinctive shoulder length blond hair who is wanted following a sex attack on a woman in her own home.
Police are searching for the man after he approached the woman at her home in Chelmsford, Essex, claiming he was there to fix her guttering.
Although the victim tried to turn the man away, he forced his way inside the property and assaulted the woman in the hallway.
The woman was too terrified to report the incident initially and then confided in a friend several days later.
She then contacted the police.
A spokesman for Essex Police said that the man's distinctive curly, blond hair is believed to be real.
The man, who was behind the attack on August 20, is described as between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall.
He is said to have been wearing a red and white patterned T shirt and a pair of knee-length black and white shorts.
