Speaking of people you thought were dead...

After Strop posted that bit about the 70's made for TV version of The Hound Of The Baskervilles I looked up Bernard Fox...Who played Dr. Watson in that lovely film...

Who is Bernard Fox? you ask...

You may not remember his name, but I'm sure you've seen him...

He was Dr. Bombay on Bewitched:

And Colonel Crittendon on Hogan's Heroes:

If anyone had asked me, I'd have said, "Oh, that guy must have died years ago", but nay nay, he's still alive:
Bernard Fox (born Bernard Lawson 11 May 1927) is a retired British film and television actor from Wales, whose best remembered roles are Dr. Bombay from Bewitched, and the naive, bumbling Colonel Crittendon on Hogan's Heroes.

So here's what's likely to be a very short APT, (since if you already believe they are dead, you're not likely to think of them...)

What person or persons have you long assumed to be deceased that you recently discovered actually weren't dead?

Valerie Harper was reported to have in inoperable brain cancer in March or April; I thought she had died, but she apparently is still alive and responding well to treatment.
