a sign will be erected in Wales, without a single fucking error
Asda is to replace a bilingual sign at a Swansea store after using Scottish Gaelic instead of Welsh.
The supermarket chain uses English and Welsh signs across its stores in Wales.
But the "parking" sign for drivers arriving at the store in Morriston had the Scottish Gaelic term "parcadh" instead of the Welsh word "parcio".
An Asda spokesperson said: "Thanks to the eagle-eyed shopper who spotted the mistake. New signs will be in place shortly."
It is the second language blunder in a week by a supermarket chain.
On Tuesday, Tesco removed a sign on a cash machine at a store in Aberystwyth after the Welsh version of "free withdrawals" was wrongly translated as "free erections".
