Man gets trapped in wall of Denver restaurant
Updated 4:41 pm, Wednesday, December 10, 2014
DENVER (AP) — Police say a man who was living in the rafters above a Denver restaurant crashed through the ceiling, triggered a flood and got trapped in a wall.
Officers responded to a report of a man falling through the ceiling at the Yard House late Tuesday night. They saw a man walking around the scaffolding and then disappear. A water pipe in the ceiling ruptured, flooding the restaurant and the adjoining lobby of the Sheraton Hotel.
About three hours later, officers heard moaning coming from near the restaurant's entrance. They pulled back some booth chairs and saw the man's feet sticking out of the wall. Firefighters used a chain saw to cut him out.
The man, who was taken to the hospital, is facing charges for damage to the restaurant.

Restaurant owner:
"Hello, Animal Control? From the sound we're hearing when it walks around, we've got the world's biggest racoon living in our attic..."

What's going on Colorado... this from November
A Colorado man could face trespassing charges after he was rescued Tuesday at a Marshall's department store near Denver, where he'd been trapped inside a wall for two or perhaps even three days, authorities told NBC News.
Employees at the store in Longmont, about 30 miles north of Denver, called police Tuesday morning when they heard a man yelling but couldn't figure out where the sound was coming from, said Molly Meehan, a spokeswoman for the Longmont Fire Department. They'd thought they heard the man Monday, too, but simply couldn't locate the source, she said.
