Temperatures have plunged across the UK, with roads blocked, school closures and heavy snow blanketing huge swathes of the country.

Not that you'd know it from these bracing pictures of female revellers in Newcastle city centre this weekend.

A passenger jet had overshot a runway at the city's airport on Thursday but on Saturday night the girls pictured showed they didn't mind some fog on the Tyne, or snow in the Bigg Market.

I can state in all honesty, that the young ladies of the city of Newcastle upon Tyne in the English north country, who are given the sobriquet "Geordies", are renowned all over the UK for divesting themselves of much of their clothing, (even in the chilliest of months) getting incredibly intoxicated, and hunting the city centre in packs for unsuspecting young males to breed with.

This site is so educational!

But "unsuspecting young males"? My guess is they suspect/inspect/expect quite a bit.

Does the young male have to breed with the whole pack or can he pick and choose 1 or 2 or however many he would like?
