I don’t think this one has been done

I wanna get this engraved on a plaque and hang it up at work:
This job would be great if it wasn't for the fucking customers.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Good guess!

Just re-watched this one last night for the first time in a while...

Famous stars, famous director, based on a story written by a very well known author; a real classic...

Surely somebody will get this one quickly :? ...First quotes:
Now listen to me you benighted muckers. We're going to teach you soldiering. The world's noblest profession. When we're done with you, you'll be able to slaughter your enemies like civilized men.
One look at your foolish faces tells me that you're going to be crack troops. Ohhh him there with the five-and-a-half hat size has the makings of a bloody hero!

Gee whiz, not even any smartass guesses...
A: It would have been wiser if you'd both gone home at the end of your army service.

B: Home to what? A porters uniform outside a restaurant, attainin' tips from belching civilians for closing cab doors on them and their blowsy women?
They're savages here, one and all. Leave 'em to go back to slaughterin' babes, and playin' stickball with each other's heads, and pissin' on their neighbors.

OK, obviously mine wasn't good enough for you.

My brain is still overheated from thinking about the last clue. Once I cool down I'll try to extrapolate more data as it comes in.

Not Apocalypse Now since we had that one.
Now listen to me you benighted muckers. We're going to teach you soldiering. The world's noblest profession. When we're done with you, you'll be able to slaughter your enemies like civilized men.
Sounds like Patton but the clues and the rest don't really fit.

This leaves us with only one answer:

It's not Patton, Apocalypse Now, or any other American military film...

The events depicted in the movie do not involve the US military, or American soldiers...

(One might think that an expression like "benighted muckers" would be a clue as where the soldiers involved hail from...)

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

~sigh~

The Man Who Would Be A Comedian....

Last quote, including character names....

(If nobody still gets it, I'll give the answer and anyone who chooses can do the next one.)

Daniel Dravot: Peachy, I'm heartily ashamed for gettin' you killed instead of going home rich like you deserved to, on account of me bein' so bleedin' high and bloody mighty. Can you forgive me?

Peachy Carnehan: That I can and that I do, Danny, free and full and without let or hindrance.

Daniel Dravot: Everything's all right then.

A film I really enjoyed. But I will admit, including the character names helped a lot in identifying the film.

Just like last week, I'm going to be in and out, so I am putting my turn up for grabs to the first person who claims it.

Might have to check that out. I will hazard a new one and it is along the same lines.

Lieutenant B: Fire at will!

Pvt. O: That's very nice of him.
