You wait 10 years for a train… then two come along at once!

Ryan Allen from Spilsby in Lincolnshire thought he had set up his camera at the perfect spot in Little Bytham

But Virgin Trains commuter service whizzed by at the exact moment - completely obscuring steam locomotive

After the moment was ruined he posted a video, retweeted 1.2k times, saying: 'I had a feeling this would happen'

Flying Scotsman completed London-York trip today, 11 years after last outing in 2005 from York to Scarborough

That's why a true railfan always keeps close tabs on the timetables. :lol:

In America, we'd refer to her as a 4-6-2 — or "Pacific" — steam loco.
But regardless, she's still a very pretty one.

And is that still a link-and-pin coupler on the front?
