"I popped into the office and the airport to say hello and check in to see what the team are up to. This guy wasn't up to much at all – I caught him sleeping on the job! Wow, did he get a shock when I woke him up. He must have thought he was dreaming because he went straight back to sleep. To be fair, he was on standby, getting some much needed rest."

I presume one or the other (or both) of these people are Aussies.  So, for the benefit of those of use who do not keep track of each and every descendant of each and every prisoner who was ever transported to that island, who are they and what is the significance of the picture?

And if you say something like, "well, it's the Australian prime minister or the head of QANTAS" or something like that, why would I be expected to know that?
