Jack Davis is familiar to many for his long association with (and founding of) Mad magazine. But his work on movie posters, TV Guide, Life, etc. may even be known to our younger (ahem) Plan B denizens.
What, me worry?

RIP.
Spent many a day reading Mad Magazine. Always enjoyed the illustrations.

Ditto. He had a very recognizable style, and I consider him to be as much as part of MAD magazine's success throughout the early years as Bill Gaines, Harvey Kurtzman, Wally Wood, Al Feldstein, Al Jaffee, Don Martin, Mort Drucker, and of course, Sergio Aragones and Antonio Prohias.
It was always interesting to see when his illustrations turned up in places other than MAD magazine.
