A man who lost nearly a third of his body weight in just over a year said he really misses a Cornish pasty.
Derek 'Del' Overduin, 56, dropped a staggering five stone – the equivalent of carrying more than 30 bags of sugar.
The granddad from Alverton, Penzance, came down from 17 stone to a healthy 12 stone 4lbs since he began dieting in April last year.
He said: "If there is anything I miss, it's the three p's – pasta, pizza and pasties.
"For pasties - you could have one but you'd use up all your daily points in one go. Pizza is OK in moderation, if you only eat one slice or may be a quarter – not a whole pizza like I used to. For pasta, its 60 grams and no more."
