For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
We all love puns
Meade, nice try but we all know that's July 24th.

In Utah, July 24th is "Pioneer Day", to honor those Mormon settlers who made the trek west and settled in the Salt Lake Valley in 1847. Pioneer = Pie in ear.
Now does it make sense — or at least become a little clearer?

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Yes, thanks much!

That's a moronic pun.

All my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in Latter-day...

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Re: We all love puns
There's a new film franchise coming.
It's about a woman, A. Jones PhD, who's a Victoria Secret model working all over the world.
At every opportunity, she secretly removes historic artifacts and treasures from museums and private collections, returning them to the proper custodians in their country of origin.
With numerous brushes with the law and with criminals intent on intercepting her, she fights, hides, connives and romances her way across the globe, always one step ahead and determined to right the wrongs of archeological misappropriation.
Look out for the first move to be released next week.
Undie-Anna Jones and the Elgin Marbles (PG)

Meade, as you know I'm slow on the uptake, and not as well read as you.MajGenl.Meade wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 8:04 amThere's a new film franchise coming... Undie-Anna Jones and the Elgin Marbles (PG)... What?
Please explain to me how the Parthenon's Elgin Marbles play into your "pun?"

Marbles has a long history. Here's a picture described as "Roman children playing with nuts"
