An infection that changes your accent is Streep Throat.

And a trailer for a film about someone with that affliction is a Streep Tease.

I really wish I had seen him perform live, preferably in the mid-'90s after he had released that song, at least once.

I saw him in concert twice--once in the late 70s (right after Bat out of Hell came out) in a small venue (a few hundred people) and the second time around 94. I enjoyed both concerts, but he lost some of his intensity (how could he not?) by the 90s. I recall in the 70s his performance of Paradise by the Dashboard Light was one of my favorite live performances ever (I heard he did the same thing at Monmouth College a few months later and got himself banned from ever performing there again, but I can't vouch it is true).

Mr. Loaf was as much theatre as he was music. As large and out of shape as he appeared -- always sweating -- he was quite kinetic. A true theatrical rock showman.

Oddly, and sadly, some say it was his appearance on the 'Apprentice' that gave our Grifter-in-Chief the inspiration to run for office.

Meatloaf managed to evoke sexy even though he was gross - that’s no mean feat.

I found a couple of boscs I had bought months ago and forgotten about, but they were still ripe. On closer inspection, their sticky tag said they were "Impearishable".

How do you think the unthinkable?

You crash it into an itheberg.

Shouldn't that be "crath it into an itheberg"?

When I retire I'm gonna move to Venice and start up a water taxi service to compete with the gondolas. I'll call it Uboat.

Did you read about the guy from Minnesota who was hard of hearing? He spent thousands of dollars on travel and hotels to get medical treatment in Egypt for his bad back. It was no more successful than less expensive methods available in the USA but a trusted friend had suggested he try a Cairo practice.

That was painfully bad, Meade.
