Woman Furiously Shits On Floor Of Tim Hortons, Throws It At Employees

A woman in Canada was so incensed about something Tim Hortons employees did or didn’t do that she dropped her pants, took a dump on the floor, threw it, grabbed some napkins to wipe her ass, threw those too, and left.

There is no pixelation in this sped-up LiveLeak video. You are going to see everything that this woman, full of rage and previously turds, does to forever sully the floor of this Tim Hortons located in Langley, British Columbia.

What’s particularly baffling, aside from the obvious, is the other customers who don’t really react to what’s happening. Maybe that’s because the tasteful barrier has censored most of it, or maybe it’s because there’s really nothing to do when a human decides to take a spiteful shit and fling it.

According to the Abbotsford News, this all went down Monday around 6:15 p.m. Police arrested the woman in the parking lot and are still determining charges. If you know the motive behind this deliberate crapping, drop a line at tips@deadspin.com.

Seems to be a problem with company policy that has also caused recent PR problems for Starbucks and Waffle House: who has access to the public bathroom.

Update (May 17, 1:01 p.m. ET): Tim Hortons has released a statement, via CBC.com:

“In limited cases across the country, restaurants have a restricted access policy for restrooms to ensure the well-being of our guests,” said Tim Hortons in a written statement.

“Our current understanding is that the Team Member used their discretion in this case and denied access to this Guest based on past behaviour and out of concern for the immediate safety of Team Members and Guests in the Restaurant,” the statement read, adding that as matters escalated, staff called police."

Note that this customer was known to the workers for causing trouble in the past.

When I worked in NYC, we changed our policy and let messengers (usually bicycle messengers) use the restrooms after a couple who were refused access shit in the elevator. In NYC, there are few public restrooms, and most stores and fast food restaurants will refuse access to their restrooms to anyone but patrons.

I think the new Starbucks policy should be adopted by all public food servers that do not require a reservation or waiting list. It will avoid many nasty public health incidents and/or discrimination law suits, especially in metropolitan areas where civility appears to be eroding much too quickly.

Regionally, we now have many Wawa convenience stores. A nationwide survey has voted them as having the 2nd cleanest public restrooms in the country, behind Sheetz. Absolutely no purchase necessary.
