This is why weight mileage fees make sense.
Re: That sinking feeling
Weight and mileage has little to do with that incident
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

You don’t have to drive on Michigan roads where we deal with weather weight and mileage yet no one wants to pay for upkeep

Been to Ann Arbor numerous times in last few years, and I feel your pain. Can't say I saw any sinkholes, but I did have to avoid potholes that could swallow a car, not a large car but economy class.Crackpot wrote:You don’t have to drive on Michigan roads where we deal with weather weight and mileage yet no one wants to pay for upkeep

When I drove to Ann Arbor I had the same experience. The only roads I remember being as bad as Michigan interstates were the dirt roads crossing the mortar range at Ft Lewis. Which had literal bomb craters in them. As I saw in a meme, "In England they drive on the Left. In Michigan they drive on What's Left."
Death is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.
