That appeared to be a definate uphill battle. One must wonder just how drunk this guy needs to be before he just lays the body down and sleeps it off.

I think I am beginning to get a bit intolerant.

It's a medical condition; after a long period of substance abuse, the intake affects the user much more quickly and strongly. Meaning they can drink less, but feel it more - the reversing of the tolerance build up they may have had before.
