Cow manure fetish man is jailed by Cornwall court

A man with a fetish for cow manure has been jailed for two years.

Truro Crown Court heard that David Truscott, 41, had repeatedy broken into a farm near Redruth in Cornwall over a period of six years.

Judge Christopher Elwen said Truscott made the lives of the farm's owners "absolute hell" through his "bizarre fetish and disgusting behaviour".

Truscott, of Camborne, Cornwall, was jailed for breaching the terms of a restraining order and harassment.

The court was told Truscott was jailed for an arson attack at the farm after setting fire to a cattle pen which killed a cow and her newborn calves.

But in 2009 he returned to the farm but was discovered in a muck spreader.

He was jailed again for 16 weeks and made the subject of a restraining order.

Mark Charnley, defending, described Truscott as a "socially inadequate man".

Judge Elwen rejected a defence plea for a suspended sentence saying Truscott had to be jailed for his "bizarre and perverted activities".

A man dubbed a slurry pervert after he carried out sex acts covered in manure on a farm near Redruth has had his interim hospital order extended by 12 weeks.

David Truscott, 43, was remanded to Langdon Hospital in Dawlish, Devon, in May and will now undergo a new psychiatric assessment, a judge has ruled.

The rule, made by Judge Francis Gilbert at Exeter Crown Court could be extended.

Truscott, then of Pengegon Parc, Camborne, had previously been found naked at Woodbury House Farm at Tolgus Mount, near Redruth.

When officers found him he was covered in a large amount of slurry and mud, and was surrounded by tissues.

This was not the only time he has been caught sexually pleasuring himself while surrounded by cow dung.

Truscott has been jailed twice in the past for breaching a restraining order and going onto the land at Woodbury House Farm, Redruth, and rolling in slurry.

A pervert with a fetish for rolling around in slurry has been jailed for five years for waging an eight-year vendetta against the farmer who banned him from stepping foot on his land.

David Truscott threatened to burn down the farm in Redruth and to attack owner Clive Roth, his wife Jackie, and their family.

He was being treated at a hostel in Exeter when he made a series of chilling threats about how he wanted to take revenge on the family by burning their farm and tying their 17-year-old son to a tree.

Truscott, from Pengegon Parc, Camborne, has already served four prison terms for previous attacks on Mr Roth’s Woodbury House Farm, near Redruth, including setting light to a tractor, a cattle shed and a milking parlour.

He made the new threats shortly after being released from jail and transferred to the hostel, where he was being treated for a type of autism.

Truscott spent a few weeks at another supported hostel in Somerset where staff allowed him to indulge in some aspects of his fetish, but he became angry and upset after being moved to Exeter, where he was not.

His threats have had a devastating effect on the Roth family and the farmer is now seriously ill, while his wife and family say the vendetta has affected their work and their lives.
