Amazing nomenclature. I can see something that goes around from the top of the head to the bottom the chin as a 'circle beard'
But many of the examples look to me like what used to be called simply a goatee or a Van Dyke. I had one briefly when my employer insisted I must be qualified for a full-face chemical fume and dust protective respirator. At first I got by with the goatee because it was all inside the mask. But the safety office insisted that that was no go. The federal regs said 'clean shaven in the area of the seal' and mine was not good enuff. My response was to shave it all and then as soon a possible transfer to a job where a respirator was not part of the job description and grow the full beard back. My daughter (age 3 at the time) refused to speak to me as long as I was clean shaven.

That "full circle" guy in the red T-shirt has the gayest looking beard and face I've ever seen in my life. After seeing it, I had to wash my eyeballs with Lava soap with pumice.
