In case you need to know: according to Wikipedia an emperor penguin can reach 100 cm in height; and an Alexander ALX400 bus (in production 1998 - 2006) is 4.39 m in height. I chose height because, like for like, that's the dimension we are using for the size comparison. A quick bit of arithmetic yields that the aforementioned asteroids are 5.011 London Buses high. Two small asteroids each around the size of 22 emperor penguins stacked nose to toes are set to fly past the Earth this weekend.
The asteroids in question have been designated 2023 AT and 2023 AE1, according to the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS) at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).
You read it here first. Good luck with those asteroids, everyone!
