Had not seen the Black Betty memes before, this is truly hilarious.
I only learned of the song because it was quoted long ago in another song by X (the LA punk band) -- although I'm pretty sure they were referencing the Leadbelly "original." Would never have guessed it was well-known enough to even support an interwebs meme. I never even heard of Ram Jam before the post above.
