God it is funny watching kids imitate their parents.

I wonder if it is mum or dad that is constantly waving their hand from side to side?

I think they are discussing the lack of a sock on a foot and the odor of the naked foot. Waving a hand in front of the nose is universal for "stink".

This is such a anoying delightful stage of communication development. Many moons ago, I had a young neighbor, who'd always chat me up, when I returned from work. That there were only one or two words that actually made sense, didn't matter; we had the best conversations because he knew how to engage an audience with non-verbal cues. So, while I used words and he used gestures; I think the little boy was far more interesting :mrgreen:
