Valentine's Day is coming soon!

Today I have been feeling very depressed. I picked up my mail from the mailbox and there were a couple of magazines I like to look through, but lots of bulk mail ads for all kinds of stuff. I skimmed through it, in case there was something I really wanted. Found the weekly specials for two local groceries that are worth the time to carefully study, among lots of other junk ads. BUT! a 8.5 by 5 inch card got my attention and a big laugh.
I shows a nicely put together young lady with a big smile looking at a miniature of the containers used locally for sorting trash. It is held by two hands with the lower arm attached to one hand clearly enclosed in a white shirt and sleeve of a business suit. The headline beside the picture: For Valentines's Day, nothing says "I love you" like affordable, reliable garbage service!
Changed my whole mood. I am still laughing as I type this. Back in the day when I shared living quarters with a person of opposite sex, nothing would have carried a bigger guarantee on Valentines's Day that I would be sleeping alone on the sofa that night.
