.US authorities say a man kept his wife's body in a freezer for a decade so he could continue to collect her benefits.
Officials said Allan Dunn committed suicide last August, aged 86.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office reported that a woman who was helping prepare his estate went to the Florida condo on Tuesday to clean.
That is when she found the remains of an elderly woman, believed to be Mr Dunn's wife, Margaret, in a freezer on the back porch, police said.
The medical examiner believes the woman died of natural causes in 2000.
Investigators said Mr Dunn became guardian of his wife's estate in 1999 and hid the body so he could keep collecting her benefits
