Father on trial for branding children like cattle
May 13, 2010 - 11:00AM
A US man accused of branding his three children like cattle is on trial on assault charges in Washington state.
KIRO-TV reports that Mark Seamands branded his 13- and 15-year-old sons and 18-year-old daughter with the letters "SK" - for Seamands's Kids.
He has been charged with assaulting his sons but not his daughter because she was old enough to give consent.
Mr Seamands's former wife said she was horrified when she saw the scars on the younger boy's chest, the older boy's arm and the back of the daughter's leg.
KIRO said the boys were expected to testify in defence of their father because they were proud of their brands.
Mr Seamands is expected to take the stand and show his own brand.

Re: Family brands together
Well, it certainly sounds like they all wanted the brands. It is a shame they weren't all made to wait until they were 18 years old to get them.
Bad move Dad.
Bad move Dad.
Bah!

Re: Family brands together
How about this: drop all charges if all three children agree to irreversable sterilization.
Treat Gaza like Carthage.
