That looks just a little too perfect to me....
What are the odds that a friend just happens to be on site to record this near death bit of idiocy?
I suspect an air rifle could have been involved....

I would suggest that douch bag should learn how to properly clean and maintain firearms. Not to mention the complete absence of common sense.

LJ, your suspicions strike me as reasonable. Still, it takes a great deal of stupidity to mess about like that (even with an air rifle) for the sake of 15 minutes on YouTube.

Well the camera was on a tripod so I reckon he was out there on his own. Maybe somebody who knows a bit more about guns and the way they discharge will enlighten me but I found it very interesting the way that the gun moved suddenly to be pointing away from his face about half a second before it went off...Lord Jim wrote:I doubt he would have blown his brains out...

Who's going to go to the trouble to do that, just to film themselves cleaning their rifle?
