CUSTOMS officials at JFK Airport have found $600,000 worth of cocaine stuffed inside Ferrero Rocher chocolates and pistachio shells.
Robert Lopera, from Connecticut, was arrested on May 11 after Customs and Border Protection agents noticed that "the chocolates and pistachios were unusually heavy", federal agents said.
They seized 7kg of cocaine.
Mr Lopera had flown into New York on Avianca Flight 824 from Medellin, Colombia. He held a one-way cash ticket.
Officers noticed the heft of the sweets when he handed over two bags for examination, and arrested him after the powder in the treats tested positive for cocaine, authorities said.
He is awaiting federal prosecution and could face significant jail time if found guilty.
Ferrero Rocher chocolates became popular in the Nineties thanks to a series of cheesey adverts set at a party in a European ambassador's residence.
The line "Monsieur, with these Rocher, you're really spoiling us" was widely ridiculed but soon passed into popular culture.

No. No. I mustn't.
Oh alright. If you insist. Just the one.

It's just a brilliant marketing ploy by Robert Lopera.
By placing the cocane in the chocolets you wont have to find some when your stoned.
Just a man suplying what the public wants
