Your Piccie, your Avatar

Post by loCAtek »

Why did you?

This board has brought about some new poster pics, what's the story behind them?

Mine's stayed the same; Hawkgirl in simple lines.

Complex character + female fighter + flexible form with room to grow.

And you?

Blonde dithering between her risk-taker side and her rule-follower side. Applies equally to romance and the rest of life! Plus I just loved the image, and the man reminds me of someone I know who likes to push me to take more risks in life.

The avatar I use on CSB has pretty much been the same one I used there since day 1 and I've never used it anywhere but CSB so it feels right to leave it for there and have a new one here, though I do change av's on other boards when I'm in a mood for a change and will probably do so here now and again. I chose the Blues one as thats my team :D

I was following Timsters thread at the CSB about wolves and took a special liking to one picture of “Miska”

So I made an avatar with it.

Some years later Timster posted a more recent picture of Miska which I immediately used to replace the first.

I feel as attached to my avatar as I do to my nic. So I brought both over.

I chose my avatar to piss Strop off... :)
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

You'd best ask the man himself Keld...

Oh ... I don't know why I picked this one. I am crap at picking avatars.

This one was tghe closest one I could find to my signature chook. So that was the one for me.

If I ever, EVER get a tatt, it will be of my signature chicken. :)

I couldn't resize the one I usually use elsewhere Bride of Frankenstein, so went looking for a plain ol' av and this one made me giggle a bit.

I am a big fan of anything Joss Whedon - I have chosen the character of Lorne, played by Andy Hallett, from the series Angel.

I learned recently that Hallett died last year from heart failure brought on by endocarditis acquired via dental work.
