The Republican presidential candidate told a fundraiser in Beverly Hills at the weekend that the fundamental design of airplanes was flawed for dealing with such emergencies.
Romney said: 'When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly, there’s no - and you can’t find any oxygen from outside the aircraft to get in the aircraft, because the windows don’t open.
'I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous.'
The bizarre grasp of aviation did not appear to be a joke, as Romney also told the Los Angeles Times that he was extremely concerned about his wife's safety.

I also am concerned about his wife's safety as well as other passengers. If they fly on the same 'plane, is all the oxygen sucked out of the craft when he breathes in?

I believe there may be a flaw in that theory...If all the oxygen is gone then the fire will go out. Everyone saved.
