Two policemen have been suspended from duty after their own in-car footage of them 'behaving like complete and utter idiots' went viral.
The dopey Spanish National Police officers filmed themselves making obscene gestures, simulating a sex act with a banana, driving with their eyes closed and dancing whilst out on patrol.
At one point the driver is seen leaning out of a window as his colleague playfully slaps his bottom, before hitting his own rear in a suggestive manner in time to the beat.
Both officers are armed with pistols, and their weapons are clearly seen throughout the three minute clip.
It has been reported that the estranged wife of one of the officers posted the footage onto YouTube, which has led to the pair being disciplined by Cerdanyola del Vallés town hall, near Barcelona.
She told Spanish newspaper El Mundo that she found the video on his work laptop, recorded it on her mobile phone and uploaded it.
A note on the video says: 'Isn't it great to have these kind of jobs where we can do whatever we want?'
The dancing duo have been dubbed 'complete and utter idiots' by thousands of Spaniards on Twitter.
The two officers are said to have been inspired by the Mama Luba music video by Russian group Serebro, where two agents dance and act in a similar way in a patrol car.

I'm guessing the source is British oldr. It's probably an attempt to make the story more shocking to a British audience.

I don't believe that anyone suggested anything of the sort. It's just that some people would hope that armed police would have enough common sense to act with a modicum of sobriety whilst armed.
