This was an email that I received today, received at an email address that I use to order online from a chicken wing restaurant (!)
Every person dreams about meeting someone who will complete him or her.
Nobody is aware when and where it will take place, but if we are ready and willing, we can achieve it.
International m a r r i a g e agency is one of the modern ways of interaction for the men who dream about meeting Russian or the Ukrainian dear friends.
Everything is comfortable and there is always a chance to find a woman of your dream Many Russian future wives are waiting for their soul mates and there is always a chance it-s you!
Visit us to check it out
Someone should tell them that gay men who like chicken wings are probably not exactly in their top tier of potential customers.

Maybe somebody you know gave them your email as a joke...
That's how I wound up on Christian Mingle's email list...

Here's another possibility; (probably the most likely one, if you don't use that as your primary email)
The wing business probably sold their email list to an email list broker, who put it in with a block of other lists that are likely to have a relatively high percentage of single adult males. (If you think about it, a list of people who order restaurant delivery on line is almost certain to have a fairly high percentage of that demographic; certainly more so than a list of people ordering baby food on line, for example.)
So the broker puts that list together with a number of others in the same category, (pizza delivery, Chinese, etc.) and now you have a list with let's say 100,000 email addresses. Of those a percentage will be women and families, but a large percentage will be single males.
Of those single males a a percentage will also be gay; but if out of mailing to that list of 100,000 a business targeting single straight males (like a mail order bride business) receives only say, 100 interested prospects, and from that only a dozen paying clients, it was still well worth the cost they paid for mailing out to the list .

That makes sense. I guess I was thinking of it as, would your typical chicken wing customer be wealthy enough to be buying himself a mail order bride?

This reminds me, way back, when my son was about 3 months old, I had the "privilege" of going to the supermarket for supplies. I go in and pick up Infamil (sp?), diapers, maxi pads, breast pads, and other baby and recently ex-pregnant woman things, while waiting for checkout and the lady in front of me strikes up a conversation. We start talking (being the cordial fellow I am) and as she is about to pay she asks if I would like to come over her house for dinner. I look at her and say, "do you see what I am here buying?". She looks away, then says "oh gees, I should be more observant". My ego meter went way high on that.

Hell no, and I even told my wife about the episode. She told me I should have gone and brought home the leftovers.
