Bin a bit stupid

By any measure, they did a rubbish job of installing this bin.
Just hours after signing off the job, council officials were forced to return and remove it because, incredibly, they'd put 7ft up in the air.
The black rubbish bin was attached half-way up a lamp post near a bus stop - leaving baffled residents unable to reach it to throw anything away.
It is unclear why the bin was attached so high - but it is thought the lower part of the post was left clear so engineers could access wiring inside.
