A CROSS-dressing man was caught having sex with a dog in the moat of a picturesque English Castle, it has emerged.
The 33-year-old transvestite mounted the canine after it ran off from its owner at Pendennis Castle - a historical fortress in southern England built by King Henry VIII - on the morning of July 10, the UK's Telegraph website reported.
The pet's owner had been touring the castle with a friend when the dog chased after the cross-dresser. By the time the woman caught up with her pet, the man was already having sex with it.
Castle staff detained the man as police were called to the scene, a spokesman for English Heritage, which manages the attraction, said..
"This really was a very rare and unusual incident," the spokesman said.
The man was later said to have made a "full and frank confession" to the incident, which remains under police investigation.

The owner should consider herself fortunate that the dog is still alive.
It's really quite simple: Whenever a dog chases you (unless you are on its owner's property, which this person obviously was not), you have a perfect right to kill it.

On a slightly related note, I see that the ACT is finally considering re-introducing bestiality as an offence under the Crimes Act.
I had only been niggling about that over-sight for the past 12 years.

Well, is that consensual bestiality, or non-consensual but well paid?

Why should bestiality constitute a discrete offence? Why not prosecute it as a form of animal cruelty, particularly since, where they exist, bestiality laws provide for penalties that are typically far more severe than even the most sadistic forms of animal cruelty?

I can't remember why they wouldn't let me put it into the Animal Welfare Act when it came to my attention that it was no longer on the statute books, but I couldn't get the nod from our Justice Department OR the then Minister. Luckily (like most things) people change positions over time and now at least it is once more being considered by Government here.
