Black hole award

My friend's humidifier died about 2 weeks ago...it was under warranty, so he e-mailed the company. They sent him a UPS label and he sent it out. His replacement arrived today. The humidifier is in a box that is perhaps 14"x14"x12". It was sent in a box that is approximately 24"x24"x36", along with something like four air-cushion packing pads. The box would have accommodated two (and possibly three) humidifiers. Ye gods.
