New Beetle

Post by Gob »

Anyone seen the new Beetle? I saw one about Canberra the other day, it looked great, but these photos don't do it justice.

It's been here in the US since 1998, Gob.

Appearently, Australia is a little behind?

No, Dales, the design has been updated in the past year. It is slightly stretched and flattened, and it is amazing how much difference the subtle changes make in the overall appearance.

A local newspaper tested a convertible with their turbo diesel - seemed like a fantastic ride.

I agree with the Gobster, it is a really great looking vehicle, as modified.

It looks like a short version of the PT Cruiser...
Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is
