Kinda rare

Seen a T-38 slipping around the ridges yesterday(the first I have seen around here)the Big jet transports are doing a lot of touch and go at "Ingalls Field" how do you tell a C17.from a C5,a long way off?

Thanks for the illustrations,they are so far away ,I still cannot tell the jets apart(noisy suckers,under power)
As for my "T-38s(oops my "Talons"-they are "divers"{oops again}

Might be the file size is too big.  My usual avatar from Le Chat House wasn't accepted here for that reason.
