When I was TDY to Mcguire Air Force Base in New Jersey for NCO academy the school and Barrack were located miles from no where. I either walked or took the bus to the BX I can’t remember which but it took a while to get there. I can remember I bought a ten speed bicycle and the trip back took no time. I loved that bike; it gave me freedom of movement. I traveled all over the base and the local area. The local town was small and there were corn fields near the base. That is about all I can remember, but I can remember that it cost less than a hundred dollars. I hated losing it.
I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

The bike had to be repaired before it could even be used. Brakes not adjusted and loose handebar bolts and loose headset (I'm guessing that is what he meant by rattle).
The brakes never worked well and wore out in less than 1 run.

The handlebars were under engineered (too few bolts) and broke causing a crash.

Fork twisted and handlebars broken. Oil leaking from shocks.

"Works great as a mountain bike unless you actually use it" reflects very well the useless POS cheap bikes widely avail. in the 60s 70s when I started cycling. They were all great deals if you never rode them.

You didn't watch the video. Typical Republican, refuse to look at the evidence.

I watched the entire video. His conclusion was that it was a good little bike for the money.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

With the caveat that this was so long as you rode it as a 'back-and-forth-to-school-on-a-bike-path' type of bike and didn't try to use it for what it appeared to have been designed and built for — serious off-road riding.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

The objective evidence is that it was not functional when he got it and several major parts broke in its first downhill. Then, because he went to a Montessori school or was otherwise raised by Liberals he had to say "something nice" to appear balanced and fair minded to sloppy viewers so instead of saying "it was crap, it broke three ways", an evaluation based on the physical evidence, he created a non-physical soft and fuzzy evaluation which 'sounds' positive until you notice that he didn't test any other bikes in that price range. So how would he know?

"good little bike for the money" as long as you never try to use it as a bike in the real world.
