Old, slow, overweight and cumbersome, would be my reasoning

And I think the Harley dealers will service them as well, although I understand some are drawing a line at how old a bike can be to be serviced (probably to encourage buying of new bikes).

Harley Hogs have horrible reliability (based on hanging around bikers in the previous century.) However, and it is a big caveat, they were built with blacksmith technology and were eminently fixable without microscope or degree in engineering. I think that is the key to the number of hogs that continue on the road long after the Nipponeese miracle machines of similar age have gone to the crusher.

Here are dozens of Harley jokes, some bad, others not so bad.

Yes, some are good, especially liked the race down the mountain.

Harley owners can now purchase several different colors of synthentic engine oil.
Choose one to match your garage floor

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Remember they're not leaking. They are marking their territory.
Of course the same is often said of MGs (of which I bought another last week).

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

After spending most of last weekend cleaning oil up from under (and on, and aromd) a Rolls Royce Griffon, I can attest to the truthfulness of that statement.Bicycle Bill wrote: "Yew know what they say 'bout British engines, don'tcha?

A Griffon? What, you just happen to have a spare Avro Shackleton laying around the garage?

No, but it was originally used in a Shackleton, being a Griffon 57.RayThom wrote: A Griffon? What, you just happen to have a spare Avro Shackleton laying around the garage?
It's in a boat. A very fast boat. It tends to spit a lot of oil when the boat goes over 140, and we hit 160 Saturday. But I forgot to mount the camera as we'd spent a lot of time cleaning it up for that run. I got the other 4 runs though. Still have to process the videos, I'm loading them up on youtube this week. But I'll be working on an Allison powered boat this weekend.
My youtube channel (has a few vids from last year, and earlier):

I don't drive them. I'm just a volunteer wrench.
