We have purchased about 20 new cars in our marriage,

We have bought a total of 3 brand new cars in our 29 years of marriage. A 1999 Buick Centrury (hers), a 2002 PT Cruiser (mine) and a 2010 Lancer (hers). All bought outright (or with 0% financing). All other cars were bought "pre-owned" although there were not that many certainly under 10 total

I have bought one (2007 Magnum RT), Liz never has & never will. Heck, she just sold her newest car (1997 Geo Metro) & is now driving one of two 27-year-old vehicles.
