Anybody use a dash cam?
Certainly not me, although my subaru has a backup camera. Problem is, I need my glasses to see the picture but if I wear the glasses then I can't see to back up. Pretty much useless to me.
and please don't point out to me the people who would not have run over their kids/pets had they had the camera

Unless you are planning to be seeing something on the road that you would normally want to record on video, just remember that most dash cam recordings are almost as exciting as a video of a trip to the local supermarket.
On the other hand, if you get in a lot of car accidents that aren't your fault and are caused by someone or something in front of you, a dash cam may be a handy thing to have to prove you're not at fault.

Well driving in the UK is a nightmare these days, (if you've spent the last 14 years driving on the empty open roads of Australia.) There's also the phenomena of
"cash for crash" sods.
But mostly I want to record our drives across the moors and through Cornwall.

Just glue your cell phone to the windshield.

They do look a little podgy. Cutting the oatmeal rations would sleek them down a bit.
