My ride?
Re: My ride?
I don't "name" vehicles.
Although I refer to the State car (an Aveo) as the "Roller Skate"...

Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is
Re: My ride?
My bike is called "cochyn", it's a Welsh expression meaning "red head", as errrmmmmmm it's red.
Hen and Hatch have another name for it.

Re: My ride?
@W I have the same car (named Sven, because I name all my swedish cars Sven for some unknown reason)! Only mine is blue, with the now "old fashioned" soft top in black. Is yours a hard or soft top?@meric@nwom@n wrote:

Re: My ride?
Here's what my current car resembles.
The Dodge Daytona Top Banana Hemi Charger R/T
Some people say it's my mid-life crisis car. I've always had sports cars, though this one is much sportier than most.

That's what my wife called her Festiva...the guy she bought it from had "RLRSK8" vanity plates on it. Her father calls her Metro "the egg" (it's white and rather egg-shaped). My mother calls my Caddy "the ark".keld feldspar wrote:I don't "name" vehicles.

Re: My ride?
My old boss's wife has one of those, I think a 2006. In, uhh...bright lime green. (Lime-light or Sub-lime, I think.) She's about 60.Gilead wrote:Here's what my current car resembles.

Re: My ride?
The Sub-Lime is from 2007. They had a couple of years where they made these specialty cars. In 2006 it was mine, the Top Banana, and also the Go Mango which is an orange-red color.
They are all limited edition retro designs. I believe the original Top Banana Charger was produced in '69 or '70.
Personally I don't like the color of the Sub-lime. Looks like the color of nuclear baby poop. Lime green is just not a good color for a car.

Re: My ride?
The Hi-Impact colors ran late 60's to about 1971...I recall TorRed, Vitamin C Orange/Hemi Orange, SubLime, LimeLight, Curious Yellow/Citronyella, and Top Banana. COmpared to Curious yellow, yours is actually subtle.
