A little bit of TLC (ie. $$$$$) and you'll soon see this once POS in Leno's Garage.
It's certainly NOT an "eye catcher," however. It looks very similar to Oscar Meyer's Weiner mobile.

Good one Ray
The Jalopnik piece says someone really wanted it. Actually, there must have been at least two who really wanted it, at least if the auction was honest.

Reading the description, no drive train, plus the pictures. Tells me this thing is in really rough condition. Plywood and metal tubing chassis seems somewhat restorable (but probably no actual plans to guide, so anything can claim to be 'authentic') drive train is probably all available. But that body! Described as aluminum, but the picture looks like lots of flaking body putty.
I would rather have a Lister Jag.

Is this the Lister Jaguar you're thinking of... the '63?

One of my dad's Scalextric cars in 1957 was a Lister Jaguar - blue. It competed against a Lotus or two and a Vanwall.
BTW, when I first saw the subject line for this thread, I thought it was Gob posting about some restaurant menu in Lapland
