Oh, I see. Don't I feel dopey. However, 'American Iron' lists them both as Harley/Davidson motorcycles.

Yes-HD has many different models. Sportster and big twin share very little-the new ones even less, since the Sporty still uses the Evolution and the BT hasn't for 20 years.

I'm sure getting another bike was the wrong decision, but I did it anyway.

Hey, cool. You found the Harley with over 200,000 miles.

Check this out: Voni Glaves (now) has over 1,100,000 miles on BMW motorcycles, all accident free. She (now) has over 440,000 miles on ONE R1100 series BMW, all with only normal maintenance. I have a similar R1100RT, as well as others. None of mine have over 100K, but they may someday. See
http://web.bigbend.net/~glaves/

There are other examples of BMWs with over 200,000 and even 300,000 miles, including Mr Glaves K75, but Mrs Glaves has better press. Be sure to click on the links to the Glaves' Iron Butt Rallyes and other activities.

I’m glad you got back on the horse, Jarl - it obviously brings you joy.

Nope.
You sound like a chronic malcontent.
