Eep. Glad you’re ok. Any chance you got the plate #?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

I feel for you, bro.   Glad you're OK.
Look at it this way ... now you've got a perfect excuse to get that new ride you've been daydreaming about.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I’m so very glad you are ok! The few times I ever rode on a motorcycle were positively thrilling and I loved it - it’s very sad that such a cool experience is made so unsafe primarily because of careless/reckless automobile drivers.

I hope you & Liz still had a mostly enjoyable vacation? And again, glad you are ok - even if you are a miserable bastard sometimes. :P

Yikes. Glad you are ok, sorry about the bike. Damn trucks!

Half a good vacation. The second half sucks.

A vacation that sucks is still better than work that sucks.

And, glad to hear you're not that much the worse for wear.

Glad that you are safe, but sorry about losing your ride. I recently had a similar half vacation/half dealing with problems, and hope you too remember the good half more.

If it makes you feel any better, I just saw a story on Facebook last night - shared by a Montana friend - about a couple whose 9 year old beloved family dog got lost in the Montana wilderness the day after their wedding and which was supposed to be the first day of their Montana honeymoon. They spent the week and all their money on tracking dogs and drones and lost dog flyers, and hiking through the central Montana wilds desperately searching - but ultimately had to go home to California without him. He’s not been sighted once and has been missing almost a month now.

THAT’S a shitty vacation/wedding/honeymoon story!

Motorcycle accidents are almost always the other guy's fault unless the rider is just plain stupid. (I've seen that guy go by here on his rear wheel many times.) I've never had a bike wreck, so far. I wonder if the other guy even knew what he'd done.

Did you have insurance on the bike?

Glad you two are OK, but it still sucks.

How about a BMW this time?

I've said that after each and every smash I've had. Eyeing up a new SV 650 at the moment
