You told us you weren't going to do that, Jarl. Did you change your mind on the three wheeler as well?

A member over at CycleFish said you bought one of these.

That's badass, man.

Hey, you went from '"NEVER" to "I bought another bike" in a matter of weeks. Getting back on another bike can be a process. I bet a lot of old bikers have taken the training wheel route until they regain their confidence after a near fatal accident. As they say, baby steps.

Hey Jarl we're just teasing because we're jealous. Show us some pix of the new wheels.

I knew I'd buy another bike...that is why I wanted to get rid of my M endorsement. But I didn't, unfortunately.

Jarl, life is pretty crappy in lots of ways and the planet is melting. Have fun, because you are dying anyway.

Maybe I should just start drinking, then.

Nothing is 'safe'. The word is usually used as an expression of jealous puritans and sheep who wish to prevent others from enjoying life. People die in their sleep, at home in their own beds,so never sleep in your own bed--it is not safe.

Safe can only be used logically as a comparative. A can be more or less 'safe' than B.

On the other hand, I am still mad at John Gardner for killing himself while riding drunk. He was the author of 'Grendel' and "Nickel Mountain' among other very beautiful novels. By killing himself he personally deprived me of the great pleasure of reading anything new, crafted by this great American author and I don't like it.

So Jar, just get out there and ride.

Jarl--life is way to short not to do the things you enjoy; enjoy the road on this new bike.

If you'd enjoy that more than riding, by all means, go for it. (Just don't kill anybody else while you're drunk.) But everything you've ever said here leads me to think that that's not your idea of fun.

Just enjoy your time on the motorcycle, and be careful.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
