Now and then you buy something that works as advertised with no fuss. My Mazda 3's plastic headlight lenses were completely clouded and opaque - although the light shone through OK you could not see the individual light clusters behind the lens. I bought this at Lowes for IIRC around $25 but I looked it up on Amazon for this note and it's $13 with free shipment if you have Prime.
It's basically a sanding kit with a drill attachment and 500, 800 and 3200 grit discs and an abrasive paste. Tape off the body work and it takes about half an hour to do two front lenses. Crystal clear; no muss, no fuss. It does what it says on the box which is unusual these days.
