If you ever drive to Mexico, you could probably haul quite a few Mexicans back with you.
If you go to Mexico in it. you will probably fly home. I've been to both Northern Mexico and the the Mexico city area many times and have citizen friends there. They will be the first to tell you not to take a nice vehicle south of the border. Your American insurance probably won't cover a theft down there as well. Even accidents are an iffy proposition.
