Type it into Google, see what happens - cool!

Same thing. The usual series of 4 or 5 images to click on. Then a Daily Mirror link about how cool the Google thing is. Then another. Then another

When I open a Google screen, their daily doodle is in the middle of the page and below it is the .... empty bar that you type in. But as soon as I type the first letter in that bar, the doodle vanishes and the bar jumps up to top left. I finish typing - hit the magnifying glass (or 'enter') and then below all that appear all the 7billion links

Your link opens in that same place - task bar up to the left with the words typed in it - the image sample set and then all the links below. That's all. No dancing scrolls

Guess I'm just SOL but thank you for the effort

Well, I notice that the articles were all dated before Thanksgiving, and here it is now the middle of December.  Perhaps this was an 'Easter egg' that only ran for a short period of time, like when Google re-does their 'Google doodle' to celebrate someone or something, and now things are back to normal.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

No, it's working for me. Not sure what's up with you boyz? :shrug

eta: When you do it, or click the linky I posted, the results scroll back against a star-filled background like the opening of the original Star Wars movie . . . and if the sound is on, you get the Star Wars theme music, too.

It's Eggsellent!

Yeah OK. Sounds cool

Does anyone else have this (below) same thing happen with Google? The search bar jumping up to the top left?

I seem to remember that times and times ago (on a PC far, far away), the Google search bar stayed in the middle of my screen until I hit enter and then the results came up with the search bar moved to the top left.
